How does Combi Boiler Heating system work?

Are you confused about how the combi boiler heating system works exactly?

Follow up with us. we will alleviate all your anxiety. The word combi comes from the Combination. It produces hot water and heating all in one unit there is no need for an external tank to store hot water. This is why they are the most usable system at home.

So combi boiler all shapes and sizes generally there are a little bit bigger than their counterpart’s regular boilers.

Combi Boiler

How does combi Boiler Work?

When the temperature is fallen blow the thermostat sends a signal to the boiler and fires up to the setpoints and the boiler produced the heat that can be pumped into the central heating system. When the desired temperature is balanced the boiler automatically turns off. Boilers help reduce heat output, keep the status quo, and keep the house warm while reducing energy waste.
When someone in the house uses a hot water faucet, shower, or bath, the diverter valve directs the hot water to the outlet while they are in use. As soon as the tap closes, the diverter will be reset to the central heating position. Water heat immediately when the boiler is turned on that’s why there is no need to store a cylinder of hot water.
Don’t make any changes until you are aware of anyone in the house because if Boiler pressure is too high when heating on it cause be harmful to anyone.

There is no need for any tank and gas cylinder for this this is why the Combi boiler is compact wall Mounted and takes up very low space.

Who Uses Combi Boile

The combi boiler is made for small houses it’s not used for the large property if you got multiple bathrooms you should use a System boiler instead of a combi boiler. Another fact is if the mains pressure is relatively low, the combi boiler may not be suitable for your home.

When it comes to boiler size, it usually refers to the capacity of the boiler, not the dimensions of the boiler.

Which combination boiler size do you need?

The output of the combi boiler is measured in kilowatts (kW). H. The higher the kW, the larger the capacity of the boiler to meet the hot water and heating needs of the property.  For example, if you live in a small house with one bathroom, a small (low power) combination boiler is probably recommended.

However, if you live in a large house with multiple bathrooms, you need a much larger boiler to meet your heating needs.

The heat pump system requires regular maintenance and service checks every two years.

Sizes of combi Boilers

The best model of Combination Boilers

1. Alfa e-Tech

2. Baxi 600 combi

3. Worcester Bosch Greenstar CDI Compact

4. Ideal Logic C30

5. Viessmann Vitodens 100W 2021 model

Pros of Combi Boilers

1-Space saving-No need for additional tanks or cylinders

2-On-demand hot water-no need to wait for the water to warm up

3- Compact These systems usually fit in a standard kitchen cabinet Economical to operate-Energy efficiency

4- They are very efficient-most combi systems that are over 90% efficient

5-Quick and easy installation-no tanks or cylinders to install

6- Safe and Clean Water-Water is supplied directly from the faucet and can be considered free Water pressure can drop if multiple drains require hot water at the same time

7-The combi boiler system does not have a backup immersion heater to heat hot water in the event of a failure. And safer than water storage.

Cons of Combi Boilers

The flow rate is limited.

Water pressure can drop if multiple drains require hot water at the same time.

The combi boiler system does not have a backup immersion heater to heat hot water in the cause of any fault.

Key points of combi Boilers

-Compact design, ideal for objects with limited space

-No need for hot. Water tanks No cold water tank is needed

-Usually not suitable for large properties with multiple bathrooms.

- It is not suitable for areas with low tap water pressure.
